Make a referral

A simple, supportive referral process.

We accept referrals from local authorities, support services and partners — and we welcome self-referrals and family enquiries. From first contact to move-in, we keep things clear, calm and quick.

Who can make a referral

If someone needs a safe home and support to live independently, we want to hear from you — whatever your role.

Local authorities

Housing options, adult social care and commissioning teams placing residents.

Support professionals

Social workers, probation, mental-health, substance-misuse and homelessness services.

Self & family referrals

Individuals seeking support, and families enquiring on someone's behalf.

The journey

From first contact to settling in

Get in touch

Send an enquiry through the form, by email or by phone. Share as much or as little as you have — we’ll guide you.

We review the referral

Our team looks at support needs, any risks and the right kind of home, and comes back to you quickly with next steps.

A relaxed viewing

Where there’s a suitable home, we arrange a calm, no-pressure visit so the person can see the space and meet the team.

Needs assessment & support plan

We build a personalised plan together — covering wellbeing, daily living and goals — with the individual at the centre.

Confirm outcome & funding

We confirm the placement and help line up the funding route (housing costs and support package) with the referring body.

Move-in & ongoing support

Where a home is available, move-in can be arranged promptly — and our day-to-day support begins straight away.

Who we can support

  • Adults aged 18 and over
  • Need support to manage and sustain a tenancy
  • Able to live in supported accommodation safely with the right plan
  • Low-to-medium support needs

Not sure if someone is eligible? Call us — we're happy to talk it through before any paperwork.

What to include in a referral

  • The person's name, age and current situation
  • Support needs and any known risks
  • Preferred area and any access requirements
  • Funding route and referring organisation
  • A contact for the referrer or care coordinator

Don't have everything to hand? Send what you can — we'll follow up for anything else.

How it's funded

Funding, explained simply

In supported living, the cost is usually made up of two parts: the rent and eligible housing costs, often met through Housing Benefit, and the support package, typically arranged following a local-authority needs assessment.

Every situation is different. We'll help you understand the likely funding route for an individual before anything is committed — there is no direct cost to residents for the support we provide.

Rent & housing costs

Often covered by Housing Benefit for eligible residents.

Support package

Arranged with the local authority after a needs assessment.
